Skyglass
One shortcut to every file you own

Overview
Skyglass is a side project I am building with Ari to solve our own problems for our YouTube channel. Every video we upload uses hundreds of gigabytes of footage, and we needed a way to simplify our workflow. Skyglass lets us stop buying hard drives and waiting for file downloads.
It is a native macOS app that mounts cloud storage (S3, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox) and local directories as one native filesystem. You can search across everything and open cloud files directly in native software like Premiere Pro, without waiting for downloads or taking up any local device storage.
The app is built in Swift and SwiftUI. It uses Apple's FSKit framework so volumes show up natively in Finder without kernel extensions. Under the hood, Rust daemons handle the virtual filesystem, full-text search, and media ingestion. No Electron, fully native macOS.
